Our Modefa Thickness Rating on this prayer rug is a 5 out of 10. This means it a standard thickness, but for a woven prayer mat it is fairly thick - this is the thickest chenille mat we offer. You might not want to use this on a hard floor, as it doesn't offer much padding.

Hand wash, line dry for best results. May be washed on gentle cycle, cold, in a washing machine, but be aware that the tassels may unravel or be otherwise damaged. We do not recommend regular washing.
